The Albanian Government approved the decision no.37 dated 21/01/2016 for the minimum salary for self-employed professionals. Such a salary is used for payment of social and health contributions.

The Albanian Government approved the decision no.37 dated 21/01/2016 for the minimum salary for self-employed professionals. Such a salary is used for payment of social and health contributions. The minimum salary for all other employees and self-employed remained Leke 22.000. The new decision increased the average salary for self-employed professionals by 1,7 times compared to other employees, starting with Travel Agents increasing by 1,23 times to IT specialist increasing by 2,34 times.
