COVID-19 nedeniyle alinan önlemler kapsaminda, 17 Nisan 2020 tarihinden itibaren isverenlere tek tarafli fesih yasagi getirilmisti. 7252 sayili Dijital Mecralar Komisyonu Kurulmasi ile Bazi Kanunlarda Degisiklik Yapilmasi Hakkinda Kanun ("Kanun") ile Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Cumhurbaskani, fesih yasagi ve ücretsiz izin sürelerini 30 Haziran 2021 tarihine dek uzatmaya yetkili kilinmisti. Nitekim, fesih yasagi ve ücretsiz izin süreleri, son olarak, 3930 sayili Cumhurbaskani Karari ile 30 Haziran 2021 tarihine dek uzatilmisti.

1 Temmuz 2021 tarihi itibariyle fesih yasagi ve ücretsiz izin uygulamasi son buldu.
