Sara Rapkin participated as a moderator and speaker at the 2024 ABA-IPT Advanced Property Tax Seminar in New Orleans on March 14-15. She moderated the panel discussion “An Exploration of How and When Collateral Estoppel or Issue Preclusion Applies in Property Tax Appeals” and was a featured speaker for “When the Tax Man Cometh...To Your Local Church, School or Hospital: An Exploration of Recent Trends for Property Tax Exemptions.”
Sara was also a member of the Advanced Property Tax Seminar Committee for the event, which was hosted by the American Bar Association Tax Section and the Institute for Professionals in Taxations. The seminar brought together a distinguished and multidisciplinary faculty, including appraisers, government and private sector tax officials, tax managers and state and tax attorneys.
Sara is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Tax Practice, where she represents many national companies in resolving tax disputes primarily involving property tax, sales/use tax and income/franchise tax. She frequently speaks on property tax-related issues facing Wisconsin taxpayers.
