Response: The most important qualities of a successful law firm leader include effective communication, empathy, strategic thinking, and adaptability. I cultivate these qualities in myself and others by fostering a culture of open communication, providing constructive feedback, and actively investing in skill development for both myself and my team.

2. S&A Law offices has overcome the gender pay disparity that exists within the legal profession. What can other leaders do to reduce the gender pay gap?

Response: Yes, at S&A we believe in equal opportunity for all, the biggest testament of which are two women managing the Firm. All organizations should promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, which emphasizes the importance of equal opportunities and treatment for all employees.

3. What is one advice you live by as a lawyer?

Response: The advice I live by as a lawyer is to always be prepared and to never underestimate the importance of thorough research especially for the facts and cases which are against you. Being well-prepared allows me to better serve my clients and excel in my profession.

4. What do you think needs to be done to increase the representation of women in leadership roles within the legal profession, and what steps can law firms take to support women lawyers in advancing their careers?

Response: To increase the representation of women in leadership roles, organizations can create mentorship programs, provide professional development opportunities, and implement family-friendly policies. Additionally, they should ensure that promotion and partnership decisions are based on merit, without bias or discrimination.
