April 15, 2021 - Ontario immigration is set to make changes to its Entrepreneur Stream to make the process easier for applicants.

Ontario immigration is set to make changes to its Entrepreneur Stream to make the process easier for applicants.

In proposals announced this month, the province says it will:

  1. Make video interviews permanent to speed up the arrival of candidates in Canada.
  2. Monitor applicants less often as they establish their businesses here.

Ontario officials have proposed changes to two immigration regulations: 422/17 (General) and 421/17 (Approvals under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program and Other Matters).
