Foreign nationals in Chile must now make applications for Temporary Visa applications online.

From 4 May 2020, Temporary Visa extensions, for foreign nationals who live in the Metropolitan Region, must be submitted online through the Department of Foreign Affairs' website, using the registration code ('clave única').

Those living in other Regions must present their application in person at the Regional Office, except in the Region of Antofagasta where they must submit it by courier.
