From 1st October 2019, Yavan Brar will succeed Frankie Tierney as the Managing Partner at Herrington Carmichael, with Frankie continuing as a Partner and the Head of Dispute Resolution.
Frankie Tierney says "It's an exciting time at Herrington Carmichael and I am delighted to be able to have someone like Yavan able to step into this role, we have worked together for many years now and we will to continue working hard at implementing our strategic and development goals as a firm".
Yavan joined Herrington Carmichael as a trainee solicitor in 1997, before going on to be the Head of the Corporate & Commercial team and now Managing Partner.
Yavan says "I am very much looking forward to finishing this financial year strongly. Our new structure, continued investment and recent success, gives me lots of reasons to be excited ahead of the financial year 2019 / 2020 and beyond. Frankie had an excellent reign as Managing Partner over the last decade and her professionalism and commitment to the role has provided for a strong and disciplined firm, with a bright future."
