The Government of Panama and the Kingdom of Belgium agreed to launch negotiations on an instrument to facilitate the exchange of tax information between the two countries. Panama is committed to transparency in fiscal and financial matters, making important advances in the prevention and suppression of money laundering and terrorist financing, strengthening supervision of the financial system, and including non-financial sectors for the first time.
