The Johannesburg Stock Exchange ("the Exchange"), as part of its restructuring process, has launched its new corporate identity in line with its strategic development.

We are pleased to inform you that, with effect from 8 November 2000, the Exchange is known as "the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa" ("the JSE"). The Exchange's new logo is reflected on this letterhead. Where relevant, could you please ensure that your share price pages or programmes make use of the new name and/or logo.

The new logo and name do not affect the legal status of the Exchange and do therefore not affect the contractual rights and obligations of the Exchange vis-à-vis the other parties nor the statutory status of the exchange.

The content of this article is intended to provide a general guide to the subject matter. Specialist advice should be sought about your specific circumstances.
