The Draft Law on the Harmonization of Tax Regulations ("RUU HPP") has been ratified into law by the House of Representatives. The RUU HPP is intended to reform the tax law system in Indonesia and amends several articles in regulations such as Law No. 6 of 1983 on General Tax Provisions and Procedures, Law No. 7 of 1983 on Income Tax and Law No. 8 of 1983 on Value Added Tax of Goods and Services and Sales Tax for Luxury Goods.
