Sarah Murray – Head of Licensing
Sarah is Head of Licensing at Sophie Grace.
If we had to describe Sarah in a few words, we would say she is:

Sarah's Journey to Sophie Grace
Sarah has been a key part of Sophie Grace since 2014.
"I always knew I eventually wanted to end up in law and working at Sophie Grace has helped me pursue that career path. I was lucky enough to be offered a position at Sophie Grace not long after finishing Uni and I have stuck with the team since."
Sarah will be admitted as a lawyer in August 2022 and we are excited to be part of this journey with her. We are glad to have Sarah as part of our team and she has been a huge asset to the company and is great at what she does.

Sarah's Role
Sarah has oversight and responsibility for all AFS and credit licence applications ensuring they fulfil the legal and regulatory guidelines set by ASIC. Sarah also assists clients to maintain their licences through ongoing compliance processes and procedures. She also has oversight of all AUSTRAC registrations and development of AML/CTF programs on behalf of clients.
Sarah also collaborates with senior lawyers in drafting legal agreements in relation to a range of licensees, as well as assisting a broad network of Australian and international clients who are looking to either purchase or sell their AFS or credit licences and assists in managing this process on their behalf. Sarah provides support, guidance and advice while working closely with our junior staff.

Outside of the Office
Outside of the office, you can find Sarah spending time quality time with her family and her adorable dog Frankie, travelling, and planning her wedding! She is also quite busy organising the endless list of tasks for her new house.
Most people don't know this about Sarah, but she lived and worked in London for a year. She enjoyed her time travelling around Europe but has since started a Law degree at uni.
