Since Spring 2020, Foley has had dedicated internal executive coaching services available to attorneys at all levels of practice across the firm, led by our director of coaching and certified executive coach, Anjali Desai. In response to continued increased demand, our coaching team expanded in late 2023 with the addition of manager of coaching and certified executive coach, Erica Gerson. Together, Anjali and Erica provide confidential, one-on-one coaching to our attorneys to help them unlock their potential and optimize their performance by designing a successful path forward to meet their professional goals.

Through coaching, hundreds of Foley attorneys have been able to achieve their individual objectives in the following areas:

  • Career strategy, planning, and advancement
  • Productivity and time/project management
  • Business development and personal branding
  • Interpersonal communication and relationship building
  • Leadership development, management, and team building
  • Well-being and stress management
  • Presence, confidence, and positive mindset
  • Integration

By working with a member of our coaching team on a confidential basis, our attorneys have been empowered to set clear goals and develop personalized and effective strategies to enhance their performance, leadership, interpersonal skills, and overall well-being. The coaching team also provides support to the firm's leadership development, well-being, and other professional development programming and initiatives.

Prior to becoming executive coaches, Anjali practiced corporate and securities law for over a decade, and Erica worked as a litigator for nearly two decades in various organizations.
