Overview  

Beginning 1 May 2022, the government of Peru increased the minimum wage by around 10 percent. The new minimum wage will be set to 1,025 soles per month.  

What are the Changes? 

The government of Peru increased the minimum wage on 1 May 2022 from 930 to 1,025 soles per month. The minimum wage in the country had previously not been raised since 2018. According to the government, this decision was made in an effort to benefit workers throughout the country and account for inflation.
