European Regulation on drone use postponed to January 2021.

Due to the implications of COVID-19 across the European Union and globally, the European Commission has informed Member States of its intention to postpone the date of application of Regulation (EU) 2019/947 from 1 July 2020 to 1 January 2021.

This extension is pending an official publication by the European Commission.

In the interim period, all national rules will continue to remain in force until 1 January 2021.
