After many months of lobbying and complying with new regulations suggested by The Financial Action Task Force (on Money Laundering) (FATF), finally Panama is off of the grey list. This means that our country is back in business to carry out regular commercial activity without been censured by this organization. This bring a complete new scenario for Panama in achieving international recognition in transparency, towards investment by foreign companies looking to do business in the country, with the highest growth in the region. The effort has been huge by Panama and the results even huger. Viva Panama!!! This article was written by Marco Williams. Source La Prensa Panama.
