The authorities of Hong Kong introduced new COVID-19 related quarantine measures on 12 August 2022. Inbound travelers will be required to undergo a "three plus four" model for quarantine. Under this model, travelers will be subject to a compulsory quarantine in a designated quarantine hotel for three days, followed by medical surveillance and a monitoring period. Travelers entering Hong Kong will also be required to present proof of the following:
- Present proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test;
- Proof of room reservations in a Designated Quarantine Hotel (DQH); and
- Proof of a completed vaccination regimen.
