Overview  

On 18 March 2022, the government of the Czech Republic updated its entry requirements and its risk level assessment of countries and regions impacted by COVID-19. Under these changes, eligible individuals traveling to the Czech Republic from another European Union (EU) member state will not be required to present proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, proof of having recovered from COVID-19, or proof of a negative test result. Any individual traveling to the Czech Republic from a non-EU member state will be required to: 

  • Fill out a Passenger Locator Form; and

  • Provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or proof of recovery from COVID-19, or proof of a negative PCR or RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) test taken prior to arrival and undergo additional testing after arrival.   

What are the Changes?  

The government of the Czech Republic updated its travel entry requirements on 18 March 2022. Under these changes, travelers arriving from an EU member state will not be required to present proof of vaccination against COVID-19, proof of recovery or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. Travelers arriving from countries and regions outside of the EU will be required to provide proof of being vaccinated against COVID-19, proof of recovery from COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result.
