The Decree of the President of Ukraine approving the Decision of the National Defence and Security Council of Ukraine "On introduction and repealing of special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) of personal nature" has been made public on 19 May 2018. It has extended lists of sanctioned persons and updated the previous Decree of 15 May 2017. The updated lists have been made public on 24 May 2018.

The sanctions are introduced for a period of one or three years or without time-limit against 1748 individuals and 756 legal entities, among them being O.Deripaska, A.Miller and Rusal company, previously sanctioned by the US.

Visa restrictions and asset freezes remain main types of sanctions applied against individuals.

Asset freezes and suspension of performance of economic and financial obligations are the most common type of sanctions applied against legal entities.

This year's sanctions lists include persons sanctioned by the US government and the governments of the member states of the European Union. Ukraine continues to unify its national sanction program with the US and EU sanction programmes by these means.

The complete lists of sanctioned individuals and legal entities are accessible via the following links (in Ukrainian):
