The public is advised that on Sunday, 31 January 2021, the enforcement provisions outlined in the commencement order for the Virtual Asset Services Providers (VASP) Act will commence.

The public is advised that on Sunday, 31 January 2021, the enforcement provisions outlined in the commencement order for the Virtual Asset Services Providers (VASP) Act will commence.

The commencement order was published on 28 October 2020.

These enforcement provisions allow the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) to take action where a person breaches certain provisions of the VASP Act.
