On May 2, 2018 CVC Capital Partners announced that CVC Fund VI had signed a definitive agreement to acquire The Alpha Corporation. The transaction includes AOC, LLC, the primary asset and wholly-owned subsidiary of The Alpha Corporation.

AOC, LLC is a leading global producer of resin chemistries for composites and cast polymer applications. The company is headquartered in Collierville, Tennessee and has production facilities in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia.

Gowling WLG is Canadian counsel to The Alpha Corporation in this proposed transaction with a team that includes Myron Dzulynsky and Pam Vermeersch (corporate/M&A), Jennifer Danahy (environmental) and Mariam Al-Shikarchy (tax).
