The Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 (ONCA) came into force on October 19, 2021 with supporting Regulations. On the same day, the new Ontario Business Registry also launched. Ontario not-for-profit corporations now have a 3 year transition period to make changes to their governing documents to comply with ONCA.
