TJES renders decision on the copyright of recipes
TJES has decided that, in order to be protected by copyrights, it is necessary to evidence that recipes contain the will and subjectivity of the author, configuring a human and cultural expression, like paintings, photograph, dramatic plays, movies and other works. In this specific case, given the lack of creativity, the judges concluded that the recipes are not protected by copyrights (Case No. 0015382-46.2011.8.08.0035).
New online platform facilitates trademark and patent processing
Prosur has made available a new online platform that offers free digital tools to search, analyze and manage industrial property rights. The platform is available at www.prosur.org.
