Companies House has updated a number of its forms and the associated guidance in light of certain provisions of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (ECCTA) coming into force.
The ECCTA contains, among other things, amendments to the Companies Act 2006 to facilitate the reform of Companies House and measures to increase transparency in relation to entities registered in the UK. The changes being introduced by the ECCTA are being implemented in phases – for more detail on the ECCTA, see our blog post and series of snapshots available here.
The updated forms are as follows:
- Form IN01 – Paper application to register a company
- Form IN01c – Register a private or public company
- Form LL IN01 – Register a limited liability partnership
- Form LL IN01c – Application for the incorporation of an LLP
- Form AD01c – Change a registered office address
- Form LL AD01 – Change a registered office address: limited liability partnership
- Form LL AD01c – Change a registered office address: limited liability partnership
- Form CS01 – Confirmation statement
- Form LL CS01 – Confirmation statement
- Form RP01 – Replacement of document not meeting requirements for proper delivery
- Form LL RP01 – Replacement of document not meeting requirements for proper delivery for an LLP
- Form RP04 – Second filing of a document previously delivered
- Form RP07 – Application to change an address
- Form RP08 – Application to remove material
- Form RP CH01 – Correction of a director's date of birth which was incorrectly stated on incorporation
