Czech Republic Passes Restrictive Online Gambling Rules

A new Gambling Act was adopted in the Czech Republic
establishing a licensed online gaming framework. The new
legislation inter alia envisages that the Ministry of Finance will
create and maintain a list of experts point out that these measures
are too reminiscent of the censorship of the Internet.
In addition, the law drops the Czech Republic's prohibition
on certain foreign-based operators and allows them to obtain online
gambling licenses.
