Natural resources, including oil, gas and mining, is a vital sector for many countries but also one full of challenges brought about by ever-changing market conditions, technology and regulations. Recent work includes the high profile corporate restructure in Cayman of Ocean Rig, the biggest corporate restructuring the island has seen, acting as Jersey counsel to a Canadian gold mining company in its investment in a Jersey incorporated AIM listed company and acting as Mauritius counsel to Azure Power Energy Ltd, on its issue of USD 500 million 5.50% senior notes to be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
