Through Resolution 540 - E/2016, the National Immigration Office established that Canadian citizens are exempt of visa for business purposes.

The resolution was announced in the Official Gazette on November 16. It states that nationals from Canada with valid passports are exempt from consular Argentine visas when entering into the country for business purposes. The exemption is granted based on transitory matters for 90 days, renewable for the same period.

The resolution starts on December 1, 2016.
