В последние годы во внешнеэкономи- ческих контрактах с участием украин- ских сторон и/или касающихся украин- ских активов все чаще встречаются арбит- ражные оговорки в пользу Лондонского международного третейского суда (LCIA). Особенно это характерно для договоров купли-продажи корпоративных прав и активов, а также для проектного финан- сирования.

Причины такого выбора могут быть разными, но среди них, как правило, есть и определенный уровень ожиданий от арбит- ража в одном из старейших арбитражных центров Европы, тем более что основ- ные правила игры в нем оставались неиз- менными довольно долго — предыдущая редакция арбитражного регламента LCIA действовала с 1998 года.
